Skye Boat Song

The Skye Boat Song was arranged on the 16th October 2004 for David Iggulden, Mark Robbins, and Louise Bunce for a concert at St. Mary's in October 2004.

After a brief introduction the flute has the first verse with light piano accompaniment. The second verse is given to violin 1 with violin 2 in harmony. The flute enters imitating the main them in the middle section whilst the piano part turns to runs. The second verse ends with a modulation which occurs as the third verse begins. A brief coda finishes the piece.
