Wedding March II

The second wedding march was written on the 26th of June 2004 for the wedding of a friend and colleague of mine Sarah Kerwood and her husband to be Wayne Mulhern. The piece uses both their names in code and it was also suggested that there might be Celtic undertones in the score. The score is in G major, the next step around the circle of 5ths from the first march. The next march that I am commissioned to compose will be in D and so on.

The recording was taken from a concert at St. Mary's (October 2004) when Malcolm Stowell premiered both wedding marches in their concert version.
