The flute sonata is a continuing project which began in August 2005 with the composition of Revêrie. For many years a standalone piece, Revêrie was always intended to be part of a sonata for flute and piano with the theme of dreams. In July 2009 the sonata was revisited with the first movement being composed between 20th and 29th. The full sontata will be five movements long with Revêrie featuring as the third movement. Below is the score of the first movement (Caprice). To find out more about Revêrie and the Revêrie orchestration please click the titles.
