Les Étoiles Noirs
Les Etoiles (1998) is the sister piece of Gratias Ago, written about the same time and consisting of the same thematic rhythm. It is a much darker piece than Gratias Ago and the piano rarely gets the main theme until the end when it bursts up above the flute.
