Council of Ents
I was asked to write this piece whilst working at Furze Platt Senior School: it was subsequently completed on the 18th of January 2003. The piece is really a show piece for tuba players as the rest of the band accompany.
The piece is light and tonal with sudden side-steps in keys towards ends of phrases.
