Fugue for Flute and Piano

'Fugue for Flute and Piano' (2001) was written for Louise Bunce's (nee Taylor) 19th Birthday and employs serial technique. The row is built out of interval constructed from calendar dates. Dates are also applied to the order in which rows enter. The fugal writing is generally strict except in the episodes and coda in which I use more than 3 voices in the piano part.
