Big Spender
Big Spender was initially released in 1967 on the album And We Were Lovers, but made famous by by Shirley Bassey in the same year when she released the song as a single.
This arrangement was made during the final year of my degree. For the MAD Society's (Music and Design) annual ball, I was asked to arrange the piece for a dance that was secretly planned. The danced involved a group of the third year girls provocatively singing and dancing around one of my mates who was blissfully unaware of the plan. Needless to say, a good time was had by all.
